What's the difference between the XB and XL?

Spectrum of contaminant removal:
The XL takes out everything the XB does, but is also NSF-certified to reduce lead and Select VOCs.
Capacity: The XL is rated for 6000 gallons, the XB for 25,000 gallons.
The tradeoff: Larger reduction spectrum = Smaller capacity.
Does that matter?  Probably not, since cartridges are typically changed long before either capacity is reached.
Flow rate:  2.1 gpm for the XB, 2.5 gpm for the XL.
Height:  The XL cartridge is 3” taller than the XB cartridge.
Cost:  The XL costs about 25% more than the XB.
